Tuesday's Assignment
A Message from the Chair of
the Scarborough Ribfest Committee
the Scarborough Ribfest Committee
Organized by the Rotary Club of Scarborough, Scarborough Ribfest represents the organizations largest annual fundraising event. To date, over $800,000.00 has been raised to support local charitable organizations. The Rotary Club of Scarborough is very proud to serve its community and help those in need.
The event has become an annual community favourite over the August long weekend and is enjoying a 14 year track record of success. From small beginnings to what it has become today, East Toronto's largest community event continues to grow and become a must attend celebration of family fun, food and entertainment on the summer calendar!
We hope you will join us in supporting our community by considering a sponsorship participation opportunity at the 2016 Scarborough Ribfest. Support from our business community will go a long way to help those in need.
Sincerely,
Don Hall

A: Hey! Let's change the topic. How about the yesterday's TVshow.
B: Oh, I had seen the show yesterday night. The actor is so cool. But two sets a week is too short.
A: yup, I am eager to know the ending. So I am reading the novel now.
B: Woo? The show is the novel series? I think I'll busy tonight.

Our Field Trip to Centre Island
We gone to the centre Island two weeks ago. It's a amazing Friday. This is my first time go to the island. I went there with my classmates suki and Emma.We met at Don Mills Station's coffee shop and had a wonderful conversation in the subway before getting on the ferry. we took almostly 1.5 hours arrived on park.

It was really sunny day, the weather is so good and we saw a lot of birds such as pigeons, seagulls, geese and so on. with the sunshine everything looks beautiful. I need to say the Island is so big, until the lunch time we just visited a corner. we were very hungry so we immediately had a picnic lunch in one of the spacious parks. How delicious the food!

My classmates took pictures in all kinds of funny poses. I hope to see some of the pictures on their Facebook. Cheng went down to the water and actually tasted some lake water. He thought it wasn't very salty.

I like this park, everything looks so fresh. The fresh lake, the green tree also the lovely flowers. I walked almost three hours when we need to leave but I lost some places to see. I think before the winter I will come again.
